Origami

Origami is all about taking time and folding at your own pace. It was one of my favorite things to do, Yet I still do it. My best Origami is made when I find myself not looking into a book, but just by thinking of what I can turn my paper into as I fold it.
Anyone can do this. It's very easy because there are unlimited things you can make when you fold paper.  Even if you can't make anything yet, there are many books on the subject to help you. I once tried making a Labradoodle from a book, but I got stuck on a complicated step where you take a corner and then lift it up and do a very complex reverse fold. I looked at it and well, I never got it right, so I stopped doing it because it's out of my league. That's why it's good to know what you can accomplish when you're making Origami. The key is to not be frustrated, but to enjoy the process of this wonderful Art.

I'd like to show you some things I've made from books and others from my imagination...
